I am a Registered Social Worker and therapist with 30 years of counselling experience who is committed to providing a safe, supportive space for individuals and couples to process emotions and to develop skills and discover solutions that will enable them to live most authentically.

My aim is to welcome you into a counselling space either in person or virtually, where we will have dynamic therapeutic conversations relevant to what issues you are bringing to the session. I provide a deeply present, trauma-informed, flexible approach that is uniquely tailored to your stated goals and am further guided by methods rooted in Psychodynamics, Attachment Theory, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Internal Family Systems Therapy, Systems Theory, Humanism and Compassion.

I aim to work collaboratively with my clients, respectfully offering support, encouragement, insights, constructive feedback and practical tools and skills to empower them to take action in order to cultivate a life that is in congruence with their core values.

I specialize in Women’s Mental Health across the lifespan which includes:

Young adulthood and issues related to struggles that might come with Embracing one’s potential; Building a meaningful career; working through feeling “stuck”; Relationship issues; Anxiety and Depression and navigating Grief and loss in this stage of one’s development.

Adulthood and issues related to Reproductive Mental Health including Building Families; Fertility Issues; Premenstrual Dysphoric Disorder (PMDD); Perinatal Depression and Anxiety; Parenting Support from infancy to the teen years; Relationship counselling as the transition to parenthood might be impacting one’s partnership/marriage; Perinatal loss including Birth Trauma, Miscarriage, Stillbirth and Infant Loss as I have specialized training as a Compassionate Bereavement Care provider which enables me to skillfully support those who have suffered such a traumatic loss.

Mid-life and beyond issues related to the transitions of Perimenopause and Menopause, Relationship issues; Separation and Divorce; the double bind of caring for children and elderly parents and general Self-care at this age and stage of life.
